The Coleman Classic 500 Lumens LED Lantern combines the familiar appearance of a traditional Coleman fuel lantern with the convenience of battery-powered LED lighting. This red model is a practical choice for illuminating a campsite, picnic table, tent, backyard gathering or indoor space during a power outage. Its rotary control provides three useful brightness levels, allowing you to select up to 500 lumens on high, 250 lumens on medium or 100 lumens on low. A flashing setting is also available when a high-visibility signal is needed. Runtime varies with the selected output, reaching up to 20 hours on high, 50 hours on medium and 200 hours on either low or flashing mode. The lantern projects light as far as 13 meters on high, while the lower settings provide shorter beam distances suited to close-range tasks and general area lighting. Its durable plastic body is impact resistant from drops of up to 1 meter and carries an IPX4 water-resistance rating for dependable outdoor use around the campsite. The large metal bail handle makes the lantern comfortable to carry between locations, and its built-in carabiner-style opening allows it to be attached to a suitable hanging point for overhead tent lighting. High-performing lifetime LEDs eliminate the need for routine bulb replacement. Power comes from four D alkaline batteries, which are sold separately, so there is no fuel to pour, mantle to install or open flame to manage. The lantern measures approximately 11.5 inches high, 6.1 inches long and 5.7 inches wide, providing a stable tabletop footprint while remaining easy to pack with other camping essentials. Backed by Coleman's three-year limited warranty, this Classic lantern offers adjustable illumination in a recognizable red design for camping, emergency preparedness and general outdoor lighting.
