Nice rifle!
Rifle is awesome, as is Henry's reputation. The action is super smooth. Classic lever gun style with modern features.
My main issue with Henrys was their classic tube loading. That is mot at all difficult, but this rifle will allow you to top off the mag from the right side.
Balance is superb and weight is solid. This rifle is the perfect length in this format, too. Larger loop is a perfect compromise between "standard" loops and large loops.
Sights are the fiber optic from HiViz. I would have added theirs anyway, but I didn't have to. IMHO, I was kinda wondering why the front tube was green, but the rear two were red. I'm a fan of green, so I got new green tubes from HiViz that I installed out back.
It has a receiver drilled for a scope rail, but so far, my only complaint is that once a rail is attached, the iron sights cant be used. So scope or open sights, not both. Small deal. It's a .44 mag rifle. Even with my bad eyes, 50-75m is do-able.
Finally, it has a front rail segment at 6 o'clock and slots at 3 and 9 o'clock for accessories. Since I'm a practical guy and not a "tacticool" guy, these mattered not. Overall, I'm quite happy. -
