Starline 6.5 Grendel unprimed rifle brass gives handloaders a factory-new foundation for assembling customized ammunition for properly chambered rifles. This package contains 50 empty cartridge cases and does not include primers, powder, bullets or loaded ammunition. The cases are configured for small rifle primers and use standard .080-inch flash holes, an important detail for reloaders selecting components and setting up their case-preparation process. Published case overall length is 1.508 to 1.512 inches. The 6.5 Grendel cartridge was developed to fit the dimensional requirements of the AR-15 platform while providing room for long 6.5mm bullets, and it is also chambered in a variety of bolt-action rifles. These cases are therefore suitable for experienced handloaders developing ammunition for either operating system, provided the firearm, dies and other components are specifically intended for 6.5 Grendel. A 50-count package offers a practical quantity for starting a dedicated load-development batch, replacing worn or lost cases, or maintaining a separate lot of matching brass for a particular rifle. Keeping cases from the same manufacturer and production group together can also simplify recordkeeping through repeated loading cycles. As with all new reloading brass, each case should be inspected before use and prepared according to the instructions supplied with the loading equipment and component manufacturers. Reloaders should verify case dimensions, primer selection, powder charge and cartridge overall length against current published data rather than transferring loads from another case brand without evaluation. Made in the United States, this Starline component brass is intended only for knowledgeable handloaders who follow established reloading procedures and use it in firearms clearly marked for the 6.5 Grendel cartridge.
