Traditions RAM-T Telescopic Ramrod for 28-Inch Vortek StrikerFire

The Traditions RAM-T Telescopic Ramrod is a purpose-built loading and cleaning accessory for Vortek StrikerFire muzzleloaders equipped with a 28-inch barrel. It measures 24.5 inches in its closed storage position and extends to 28 inches, providing an additional 3.5 inches of working length when extra reach and leverage are needed. To operate the telescoping section, unlock it with a quarter turn, pull it to the extended position, and turn it again to secure the rod for use. After loading or cleaning, the extension retracts into the main body so the ramrod can be returned to the rifle’s thimbles without carrying a separate extension. A flip-out T-handle gives the shooter a more secure and comfortable grip than the narrow end of a conventional ramrod, helping provide controlled pressure while seating a projectile or working a cleaning patch through the bore. The all-in-one configuration also eliminates the need to remove and reverse a jag before use, reducing the number of loose pieces that must be handled at the range or in the field. Constructed from lightweight anodized aluminum, the rod is designed to remain practical for storage on the muzzleloader while providing the rigidity needed for routine loading and bore maintenance. Its brass loading tip uses standard 10/32 threading and is suitable for use with .45- and .50-caliber muzzleloaders. This A1605 configuration is specifically sized for compatible Traditions Vortek StrikerFire models with 28-inch barrels; owners should measure their existing ramrod and confirm their rifle model and barrel length before replacing the original rod. The RAM-T is a convenient choice for hunters and recreational muzzleloader shooters who want an integrated extension and usable T-handle without adding a separate field rod to their gear.
