Vortex Viper Shotgun Enclosed 1x 3 MOA Red Dot Mossy Oak Bottomland

The Vortex Viper Shotgun Enclosed Micro Red Dot in Mossy Oak Bottomland is purpose-built for turkey hunting, wingshooting and other shotgun applications where rapid target acquisition and a low sighting profile are important. This exact model combines a bright red 3 MOA aiming dot with a broad viewing window, giving the shooter a precise point of aim without sacrificing the open visual awareness useful when tracking moving targets. Twelve brightness settings allow the dot intensity to be matched to changing field conditions, while the aspherical lens is designed to provide a clear, distortion-free sight picture with natural color. Its fully enclosed 6061 aluminum housing protects the optical system from moisture and debris, and the optic is constructed to be waterproof, fogproof and shockproof for demanding use in the field. The integrated universal mounting system fits compatible drilled and tapped shotgun receivers, eliminating the need for a separate mounting plate and keeping the sight close to the receiver. Motion activation switches the optic on when movement is detected, and a 10-minute automatic shutoff helps conserve the CR2032 battery, which offers a published runtime of up to 50,000 hours. The side-loading battery compartment permits battery replacement without removing the sight and disturbing its zero. Top-mounted controls provide convenient access to brightness adjustments, while 1 MOA adjustment graduations and 100 MOA of both windage and elevation travel support practical sight-in corrections. The optic provides unlimited eye relief and is considered parallax-free under normal red-dot sight standards. Measuring 4.86 inches long and weighing only 2.14 ounces, it adds minimal weight to a hunting shotgun. The Mossy Oak Bottomland exterior coordinates with popular turkey-hunting camouflage, and the package includes a rubber cover, custom adjustment tool, CR2032 battery, lens cloth and commonly used mounting screw sets.
