The Buck 700 Nomad is a modern folding knife built for everyday carry and routine cutting work at home, on the job, or in the outdoors. This blue variant combines a practical 3.25-inch drop-point blade with D2 steel, giving the knife a versatile blade profile suited to opening packages, cutting cord, preparing tinder, and handling other common utility tasks. The blade measures 0.110 inch thick, balancing a useful cutting profile with the structure expected from a daily-carry folder. A crossbar locking mechanism secures the blade in its open position during use and provides convenient access from either side of the handle. The handle is made from anodized aluminum and finished in blue, creating a clean contemporary appearance while keeping the complete knife to a published weight of 3.10 ounces. At 4.50 inches long when closed, the Nomad offers a full-size working blade in a package that remains manageable for pocket carry. A removable, reversible pocket clip lets the user configure the knife for the preferred side of carry or remove the clip when a simpler profile is desired. The straightforward combination of a drop-point blade, D2 steel, aluminum handle, and crossbar lock makes this model a practical choice for users who want one folding knife for varied daily needs. This configuration is the boxed blue version of the Buck 700 Nomad and is distinct from the black and bronze handle options in the same series. Whether carried as a general-purpose pocket tool or packed with outdoor equipment, it provides a useful blend of portable dimensions, low weight, and uncomplicated functionality.
