The CALIBREX Outdoor Butterfly OWB Leather Holster is a field-oriented strong-side carry option made specifically for pistols in the Calibrex Arms BRG9 family. This black holster is hand-molded to the shared BRG9 platform geometry and is compatible with the BRG9 Tactical, BRG9 Elite, BRG9 Elite Gen2, BRG9 FDX and BRG9 FD. Its outside-the-waistband configuration positions the pistol between approximately the 3 and 5 o’clock locations, making it suitable for range use, outdoor work, hiking and other activities where secure belt carry is preferred. The holster is constructed from full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather and incorporates a traditional hand-tooled basket-weave pattern. A thumb-break retention strap closes over the pistol and uses a snap release to provide active retention while keeping the firearm accessible when needed. The body is shaped around the BRG9 platform rather than relying on a generic universal fit, helping support consistent positioning and retention. A slight FBI cant places the grip at a natural forward angle for strong-side presentation and can help the holster ride closer beneath an outer garment. The reinforced belt loop accommodates standard belts up to 1.5 inches wide and is designed to hold the holster firmly against the wearer. Reinforced double stitching supports high-stress areas, while the smooth interior finish helps limit unnecessary contact with the pistol’s exterior finish during carry and drawing. Because it is made from genuine leather, the holster will gradually conform through normal use. Routine care should consist of wiping it with a dry cloth and occasionally applying a small amount of suitable leather conditioner. Prolonged moisture exposure and direct sunlight should be avoided to help preserve the black finish and leather structure.
