CobraTec EDC Scout Button Lock Folding Knife Black Grivory

The CobraTec EDC Scout is a lightweight folding knife designed for practical everyday carry and routine cutting jobs at home, at work, or in the outdoors. This exact version combines a VG-10 stainless steel drop-point blade with black Grivory handle scales, creating a versatile configuration that is easy to keep close at hand without unnecessary bulk. The drop-point profile provides a useful balance of tip control and cutting edge for opening packages, trimming cord, preparing small materials, and handling other common daily tasks. A flipper tab provides an accessible opening point, while the ceramic ball-bearing pivot supports smooth blade movement. Once opened, the button-lock mechanism secures the blade for use and allows convenient operation without requiring the user to place a finger directly in the blade’s closing path. The black Grivory scales keep the design streamlined and provide a shaped gripping surface suited to regular pocket carry. CobraTec also equips this Scout configuration with a reversible tip-up pocket clip, allowing the carry arrangement to be adapted for either side of the handle. That flexibility is especially useful for left- or right-handed users and for anyone who prefers a particular pocket orientation. CNC-machined components contribute to the knife’s fitted construction, while the straightforward black-and-satin appearance works equally well as a daily utility knife or as part of an EDC collection. The CobraTec EDC Scout does not rely on an oversized tactical format; instead, it focuses on a practical folding design, modern blade steel, a lightweight handle material, and convenient one-handed controls. For customers seeking a general-purpose pocket knife with a button lock, bearing pivot, flipper deployment, and reversible carry, this black Grivory version offers a well-rounded combination of useful features in an approachable everyday configuration.
