CobraTec Small FS-3 Purple Dagger 2-Side Serrated OTF Knife

The CobraTec Small FS-3 is a compact double-action out-the-front automatic knife designed for convenient everyday carry and practical cutting tasks. This exact configuration combines the Small FS-3 platform with a purple aluminum-alloy handle and a D2 steel dagger blade featuring serrated sections on both sides. Its blade measures 2.75 inches, providing a useful cutting edge while keeping the knife compact enough for comfortable pocket carry. With the blade deployed, the knife measures 7 inches overall; the handle itself measures 4.25 inches. The double-action operating system controls both deployment and retraction through the same side-mounted switch, allowing the blade to be opened or returned to the handle without manually folding it. CobraTec also incorporates an obstruction-sensitive safety function into its OTF design. If the blade encounters resistance before completing its travel, it disengages rather than continuing to drive forward. The blade can then be reset by carefully drawing it into the locked position. The purple handle provides a distinctive appearance while its aluminum-alloy construction gives the knife a solid structure without making the small model unnecessarily bulky. A pocket clip supports convenient carry and keeps the knife accessible, while the integrated glass breaker adds emergency utility at the end of the handle. A nylon sheath is also included for an alternative carrying and storage option. At approximately 4.5 ounces, the Small FS-3 offers a substantial feel in a compact format. This variant is well suited to users looking for a small automatic knife with a dagger profile, two-sided serration, straightforward one-handed operation, and an easily recognizable purple finish. The Small FS-3 is backed by CobraTec’s lifetime warranty and should be maintained with routine cleaning appropriate for an out-the-front mechanism.
