DoubleTake Archery Halo Micro Lighted Nocks provide a visible red reference that helps bowhunters evaluate shot placement and locate arrows after the shot. This three-pack is the Micro configuration made specifically for arrows with inside diameters from .165 to .166 inch, so it is important to confirm the shaft’s actual inside diameter before installation. Each nock installs in the same general manner as a conventional press-fit nock and requires no assembly, sanding, shaft squaring, or other special preparation. Once installed, it can be rotated as needed to align with the arrow’s cock vane. Halo’s activation system works differently from designs that rely on the nock or bowstring slipping forward during release. An internal spring-loaded plunger activates the light only after the nock separates from the bowstring, helping prevent the LED from switching on while the arrow is being placed on the string. This configuration also allows the nock to remain stationary through the release rather than requiring forward movement during the shot. Turning the light off does not require a knife, screwdriver, or dedicated shutoff tool. The nock can be placed back on the bowstring and removed while the side control is held, creating a deliberate two-step shutoff that helps keep the light from switching off unintentionally following impact or a pass-through. Each Micro Halo Nock weighs 14.5 grains, keeping added arrow weight modest while providing illumination for field use. The batteries are permanently enclosed rather than replaceable, and the complete package contains three red lighted nocks. These nocks are intended for compound-bow arrows with the specified micro-diameter shaft fit and are not the Multi-Fit version supplied with adapters for larger arrow diameters.
