Hunt Arsenal 7mm GLYDE Saddle Hunting Tether System

The Hunt Arsenal 7mm GLYDE Tether is a compact rope system made for positioning and support while hunting from a tree saddle. Although 7mm is part of the official product name, the manufacturer identifies the current rope construction as an optimized 7.5mm climbing-grade rope. Its streamlined diameter helps reduce bulk in a mobile hunting setup while retaining the handling, durability and strength required for its intended elevated-hunting application. The integrated GLYDE Adjuster is designed to let the hunter make smooth, controlled positioning changes with one hand, including adjustments while the tether is supporting the user. This rope-based arrangement provides mechanical-like control without requiring a large mechanical ascender, helping keep the system simple and easy to manage in the tree. The tether measures 7.5 feet long and is supplied as a complete working assembly with the GLYDE Adjuster already installed. A MicroForge auto-lock carabiner provides the connection to the saddle bridge, while the included Hitch Breaker assists with controlled downward adjustment when the system is under tension. The tether carries a manufacturer-published 350-pound working load rating and a 4,000-pound minimum breaking strength. It is intended for a single user and the rated load includes the hunter and carried equipment. This system is specifically designed for saddle-hunting tether use and is not intended for rappelling or use as a fall-arrest rope. Elevated hunting involves a risk of serious injury or death, so users should inspect the rope, hitch, stitching and carabiner before every use, maintain continuous connection to the tree as directed and read the current Hunt Arsenal instructions and safety warnings before leaving the ground. When used according to those instructions, the GLYDE Tether provides a low-bulk connection designed to support precise body positioning, comfortable suspension and practical shot mobility throughout a saddle hunt.
