Hunter Safety System SlapStrap Double 8-Foot Saddle Hunting System

The Hunter Safety System SlapStrap Double is a combined rope-management system designed for mobile hunters who use a tree saddle and need both tether and lineman’s-belt configurations while climbing or positioning in a tree. Instead of managing two completely separate ropes and storage pouches, this setup arranges the included ropes around a coiled steel SlapStrap that wraps against the tree. The system includes two 8-foot ropes, allowing one rope to be configured for tether use and the other for lineman’s-belt use as appropriate for the hunter’s setup and stage of the climb. Hunter Safety System’s Tender-Hitch design provides an adjustment point intended for convenient one-handed rope positioning. The SlapStrap also helps keep the lineman’s rope properly positioned around the trunk rather than allowing it to migrate toward the back of the tree. By creating a controlled path around the trunk, the system reduces direct contact between the climbing ropes and tree bark, helping limit unnecessary rubbing during use. Integrated MOLLE loops provide attachment points for organizing compatible hunting equipment close at hand, while the two included rope and accessory pouches help contain loose rope when packing, climbing or hunting from the saddle. This double-rope configuration is intended to consolidate several common saddle-hunting functions into a more organized arrangement without requiring separate dump pouches or accessory straps for the included components. The SlapStrap Double has a black and brown outdoor-oriented color scheme and includes one coiled steel SlapStrap, two 8-foot ropes and two rope/accessory pouches. Carabiners are not supplied, allowing hunters to use appropriate compatible connectors selected for their established climbing system. Users should inspect all components before each use and follow Hunter Safety System’s instructions for proper installation, connection and operation.
