This two-piece reversible Weaver-style base is intended for the Winchester 70 bolt-action rifle. Leopold's steel standard bases and scope rings (sold separately) combine to create their most versatile mounting system. Rear rings are secured by windage adjustment screws, reserving the scope's internal adjustments for precise sight-in. For gross elevation adjustments, shims can be used, reserving the scope's elevation adjustment for bullet drop compensation dial applications. The base set includes mounting screws and a Torx wrench.
