MOD Archery The Paper Tuner Compound Bow Tuning System

The MOD Archery The Paper Tuner is a dedicated tuning system for compound-bow owners who want a practical way to evaluate arrow flight at home, in a garage or at an archery workbench. Paper tuning shows the orientation of an arrow as it passes through a sheet, helping the archer identify the direction of a tear and make measured changes to the bow setup or shooting form. This model places the paper roll above the shooting window, so a clean section can be pulled down after each shot without replacing individual sheets or rebuilding a temporary frame. Printed tear diagrams and adjustment guidance are positioned around the front of the tuner, keeping commonly needed reference information close to the test area while the bow is being tuned. The ceiling-mounted configuration keeps the floor clear and avoids the footprint of a freestanding tuning rack, making it especially useful where available shop or garage space is limited. Once the mounting points are installed, magnetic quick-disconnects allow the frame to be removed for storage and returned to the established tuning location when needed. The assembled unit measures 16 inches wide and 18.5 inches high and uses 13-inch-wide paper. This base configuration includes the fully assembled tuner frame, a 30-foot roll of paper and the quick-disconnect magnets. A secure target must be positioned behind the tuner to safely stop every arrow, and the shooting lane should be clear before use. Whether checking a new bow setup, changing arrows, installing a rest, replacing strings or evaluating broadhead-related adjustments, The Paper Tuner provides a repeatable visual method for working toward cleaner paper tears and better-informed equipment adjustments without dedicating permanent floor space to a large tuning station.
