The Molt Gear EX3 X-Series is an acrylic Canada goose call built for waterfowl hunters who want responsive control and a broad range of realistic calling sounds. This MG513 configuration comes in the Glacier color and combines the EX3 platform’s specialized internal airflow system with the X-Series tuning and engraved exterior treatment. Its internal bore is shaped to move air efficiently through the call, helping the caller create the quick transitions and controlled inflection needed for clucks, moans, honks, and other Canada goose vocalizations. At the mouthpiece, Molt Gear’s Funnel Channel design concentrates incoming air and directs it toward the reed. This arrangement is intended to produce a fast response without requiring the caller to waste airflow, making the call useful for working birds at varying distances and adjusting the presentation as geese approach. The insert incorporates a Compression Chamber that slightly compresses the air before it reaches the sound-producing components, contributing to the call’s snap, volume, and power. Inside, the green Phantom guts system uses a specially shaved reed tuned for a balance of responsiveness and authority. The reed, wedge, tone channel, and chamber work as a coordinated system rather than relying on a conventional straight-through air path. The acrylic body provides the clean appearance and solid construction associated with the EX3 X-Series, while detailed engraving distinguishes this field-ready model from the standard EX3 configuration. Handmade in the United States, this Glacier EX3 X-Series call is suitable for a working waterfowl lanyard, practice sessions, and calling situations ranging from open fields to close finishing work. It gives experienced callers room to shape detailed notes while retaining a responsive airflow system that can also help developing callers build consistent air control and hand placement.
