The Mountainsmith Tent Field Repair Kit is a compact collection of repair essentials intended to help campers address common shelter problems while away from home. Suitable for carrying in a camping tote, vehicle emergency kit or backpack, it provides practical components for temporary field repairs to tents, tarps and similar shelters. The kit includes two tent-pole repair sleeves sized for poles up to 9.5mm and 11mm, allowing a damaged pole section to be supported until a permanent repair or replacement can be arranged. Fabric damage can be addressed with the included No-See-Umm mesh patch, tent body and floor patch, and adhesive patch, providing options for different areas of a shelter. A needle and nylon thread are supplied for sewn repairs, while the tube of seam sealer can be applied where a seam needs attention. Two replacement zipper pullers are also included for restoring a more usable grip when an original pull is damaged or missing. At approximately seven inches long and weighing only 1.6 ounces, the kit is easy to add to an existing camp-repair setup without taking up substantial pack space. The black Mountainsmith kit keeps the individual repair pieces together in compact retail packaging, making it convenient to store until needed. Because the included pole sleeves accommodate two different pole diameters and the patches cover mesh, body and floor applications, the kit offers a versatile starting point for handling several common forms of tent damage. It is a useful addition for campers who want basic repair supplies available at a campsite or on the trail rather than relying on improvised materials when a shelter component fails.
