The REAPR Meridius is a modern fixed-blade sword and machete-style cutting tool designed for outdoor applications such as clearing brush and supporting hunting or campsite tasks. Its symmetrical profile is built around an 18-inch double-edge blade, providing greater reach than a conventional field knife while retaining a manageable 25-inch overall length. The blade is made from 420 stainless steel and measures 3 mm thick, balancing a substantial cutting profile with corrosion-resistant stainless construction. A black oxide finish covers the body of the blade, reducing glare and giving the Meridius its distinctive all-black tactical appearance while leaving the sharpened edges exposed. The pointed, widened blade profile draws inspiration from traditional short swords but uses contemporary materials and construction suited to practical outdoor ownership. A 7-inch nylon-reinforced molded handle provides a defined guard, finger grooves and an enlarged pommel to help the user maintain a controlled hold. The pommel also incorporates a lanyard hole for adding a retention cord when desired. Because the blade is sharpened along both sides, careful handling is essential whenever the sword is drawn, carried, cleaned or returned to its sheath. The included 1680D ballistic nylon belt sheath covers the blade during transport and storage and uses reinforced edging and multiple rivets around its perimeter. A retaining strap secures the handle while the sword is sheathed, and the belt-carry configuration keeps the tool accessible without requiring a separate case. The Meridius is an unconventional choice for customers who want the reach and appearance of a short sword combined with the straightforward construction of a large outdoor fixed blade. After use, the blade should be cleaned, dried and securely sheathed, then stored away from children and unauthorized users.
