The Mark IV features a new, easy one-button takedown for quick field stripping and cleaning. Pressing the button in the back of the frame allows the barrel-receiver assembly to tilt up and off the grip frame without the use of tools. The pistol also maintains the cylindrical receiver and bolt design characteristic of the original Ruger Mark I pistol.
