The Safariland Gravity is a lightweight outside-the-waistband holster configured for right-handed carry of compatible Glock 19 and Glock 17 pistols. Its compact, open-top body and low-cut sides provide clear access to the pistol grip, making the holster a practical choice for everyday carry, range training and defensive-pistol competition. Retention is handled by a passive detent at the trigger guard, with an adjustable tension system that lets the user tune the amount of resistance felt during the draw. The trigger guard remains fully covered while the pistol is properly seated, and the holster provides 13/32-inch front-sight clearance. The body is made from thermoformed SafariLaminate and finished with a black Nylon Cordura exterior, combining a rigid, pistol-specific form with a fabric-wrapped appearance suitable for regular wear. This configuration includes Safariland’s injection-molded 568BL paddle, which is designed for convenient attachment and can be worn with or without a belt. It accommodates belts up to 1.75 inches wide, while the adjustable cant allows the carry angle to be set for the wearer’s preferred draw position. The holster body also uses Safariland’s established three-hole mounting pattern, allowing it to work with compatible Safariland mounting hardware when a different carry platform is desired. The streamlined Gravity design avoids a separate active-release lever while still providing adjustable firearm security through its passive retention system. It is approved for IDPA and USPSA use, giving shooters one holster that can serve for routine carry, practice sessions and organized competition. As with any pistol holster, fit and retention should be checked with an unloaded firearm before use, and the tension and mounting hardware should be inspected regularly to maintain secure operation.
