T.R.U. Ball Aileron HBC Flex 3-Finger Hinge Release Medium Black

The T.R.U. Ball Aileron HBC Flex is a medium-size, three-finger handheld archery release designed for controlled hinge and back-tension shot execution. This exact version combines a black configuration with QuickSilver-finished brass construction, giving target archers and bowhunters a substantial handle with extensive fit adjustment. Its defining feature is the system of independently adjustable Aileron finger beds. These sections can be repositioned in precise increments to change the effective handle width and tailor the contact points to the shooter’s hand. Their adjustment also functions like second-axis tuning for the release, helping direct the head toward the target and limit unnecessary torque during the shot process. The Comfort Flex third-finger section adds another level of personalization with 30 degrees of radial movement, providing 15 degrees of adjustment forward and 15 degrees back. A knurled surface supplies added contact at the ring finger, while smoother areas around the first fingers allow the handle to rotate naturally as back tension increases. Inside the release, the HBC mechanism uses a spring-loaded head and hook sear engineered to move fully out of the D-loop’s path when the shot breaks. The click and firing speed are micro-adjustable, allowing the archer to tune both the warning point and the amount of rotation required for activation. An adjustable thumb peg provides another contact point for establishing a repeatable grip and anchor. This release comes in the medium three-finger configuration; a compatible articulating fourth-finger piece is available separately and is not included. Made in the USA, the Aileron HBC Flex is intended for experienced archers who want to refine handle fit, release orientation and activation timing rather than adapt their shooting form to a fixed handle geometry.
