The Warthog V-Sharp A4 is a bench-style manual knife sharpener designed to help maintain dependable edges on kitchen, hunting, fishing and general-purpose smooth-blade knives. This exact A4GG variant features a gunmetal gray powder-coated metal frame set on a premium rubber base, providing a substantial sharpening platform without requiring electricity, clamps or complicated setup. At the center of the system are two 325-grit natural diamond hones arranged to work on both sides of the knife edge during the same sharpening stroke. This simultaneous action helps users follow a consistent process from one side of the blade to the other instead of repeatedly changing hand position or trying to match an angle by eye. Four selectable angle settings—15, 20, 25 and 30 degrees—allow the A4 to accommodate different edge geometries, including the narrower 15-degree setting offered for specialty knives. Once the diamond surfaces have established or refreshed the edge, the included finishing steels can be used as the final step in the sharpening process. The adjustable V-Sharp design makes the system practical for routine knife care at home as well as maintaining working blades used while hunting, fishing or camping. The included hones are intended for smooth blades. Warthog ceramic hones are available separately when sharpening serrated blades is required, and other replacement hone options are available for users who want additional grit choices. With its straightforward angle adjustment, dual-hone arrangement and durable metal construction, the V-Sharp A4 provides a repeatable approach to restoring dull knives and maintaining blades before they become difficult to use. The gunmetal gray finish identifies this specific color configuration while retaining the standard A4 rubber-base design.
