Barnett Premium Hook Rope Cocking Device Black/Red

The Barnett Premium Hook Rope Cocking Device is a handheld crossbow accessory designed to make the drawing process more controlled and reduce the physical force required to cock a compatible crossbow. Its pulley-style rope system reduces cocking tension by up to 50 percent, helping the shooter pull the string rearward with both hands rather than relying on a direct, full-weight draw. Two hook assemblies engage the crossbow string on opposite sides of the flight track, while the 50-inch rope provides the working length needed to route the device around the stock and complete the draw. Barnett equips this premium version with ergonomically shaped black and red handles that provide a broad, comfortable gripping surface. Diamond-knurl soft-touch sections add texture where the hands contact the handles, supporting a secure hold during operation. A built-in magnet lock keeps the handles together when the device is being carried or stored, reducing loose movement and making the rope cocker easier to organize with other crossbow equipment. The separate, nonpermanent design allows it to be carried in a crossbow case, range bag, or hunting pack and removed completely after the bow has been cocked. This model uses hook-style string engagement rather than a sled configuration and includes an RCD instruction manual for correct setup and operation. It is intended for shooters who want mechanical assistance without installing a crank system on the crossbow. The device should be used only with a compatible crossbow and according to Barnett’s instructions, with the hooks positioned correctly and the rope checked for damage before each use. This exact Premium Hook model is not compatible with Barnett Hyper RAPTOR crossbows.
