Barnett Premium Sled Rope Cocking Device Black 50-Inch

The Barnett Premium Sled Rope Cocking Device is a practical crossbow accessory designed to make drawing the string easier and more controlled. Its rope-and-sled configuration reduces cocking tension by up to 50 percent, helping the shooter apply steady force while bringing the string into the cocked position. The auto-leveling sled hook design promotes even engagement with the bowstring, supporting a smooth, balanced draw rather than pulling more heavily from one side. This configuration is particularly useful for hunters and target shooters who want a removable cocking aid that can be carried with their crossbow and used whenever the bow needs to be prepared for a shot. The two ergonomically shaped handles feature soft-touch, diamond-knurl grip surfaces for secure handling during the draw. An integrated magnet lock holds the handles together when the device is not being used, helping keep the rope assembly organized during storage or transport. The rope measures 50 inches long, providing the working length required for use with a broad range of crossbow configurations. Barnett identifies this model as compatible with most crossbows, but it is not compatible with Barnett Hyper RAPTOR models, so owners of those crossbows should select the dedicated device intended for that platform. This exact variant has a primarily black construction with contrasting red grip accents and uses a sled-style hook rather than separate conventional rope hooks. A rope cocking device instruction manual is included to provide the manufacturer’s operating guidance. Before each use, the user should follow the supplied instructions and check that the device is positioned correctly for the specific crossbow. Compact enough to remain with other essential archery equipment, the Barnett Premium Sled Rope Cocking Device offers a straightforward way to reduce the physical effort required to cock a compatible crossbow while encouraging a centered, controlled draw.
