The blade is made from MagnaCut stainless steel hardened to 60-62 HRC and finished in satin. Benchmade’s SelectEdge sharpening process creates a fine cutting edge suited to controlled slicing during detailed processing work. Its elevated tip and broad belly provide useful cutting surface while the 8.11-inch overall length remains manageable when working around joints, bone and confined areas. The contoured handle is shaped to resist rolling in the hand, and carefully positioned pinch points support precise control when shorter, deliberate cuts are required.
