The Benchmade SlipRidge Fixed is a purpose-built hunting knife designed to serve as the primary cutting tool in a big-game processing kit. This 15650-01 configuration pairs a highly visible Rust Orange G10 handle with a 3.7-inch drop-point blade made from MagnaCut stainless steel and hardened to 60-62 HRC. Its broad belly and elevated point provide practical cutting geometry for separating quarters, working around joints and making controlled cuts in confined areas. Benchmade applies its SelectEdge ultra-fine sharpening process to the plain edge, while the satin blade finish gives the knife a clean, functional appearance. At 8.11 inches overall and 4.37 ounces, the SlipRidge offers useful working length without becoming cumbersome in a hunting pack or on a belt. The contoured G10 handle is shaped to resist rolling during use, and carefully positioned pinch points give the user additional control during detail work. A deep finger choil helps create a secure transition between the handle and cutting edge, an important consideration when field conditions are wet or demanding. The included OD Green Boltaron sheath provides secure storage and is MOLLE compatible for adaptable attachment to a belt, pack or compatible field gear. Its modular construction also accommodates the separately sold Benchmade SlipRidge Hook, allowing hunters to expand the system with a dedicated tool for opening cuts while keeping the primary knife available for finer processing tasks. Built in the United States, this fixed blade is suited to hunters who prefer the strength, simple maintenance and immediate accessibility of a non-folding knife. The Rust Orange handle makes it easier to locate among leaves or equipment, while the corrosion-resistant G10 scale material offers a durable gripping surface for repeated outdoor use.
