CobraTec Regent Bar Lock Folding Knife S35VN Black

The CobraTec Regent is a practical bar-lock folding knife designed for everyday carry, outdoor use and routine cutting work. This exact Regent variant combines a black titanium-coated S35VN stainless steel blade with a black CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum handle, creating a coordinated, low-profile appearance. The 3.25-inch blade provides a useful balance between cutting capability and convenient pocket carry, while the 4.25-inch handle offers enough room for controlled handling without making the knife unnecessarily bulky. Open, the Regent measures 7.5 inches overall and weighs 3.4 ounces, making it manageable for regular carry in a pocket, on a belt or attached to a bag. A thumb stud provides direct access for opening the blade, and the bar-lock mechanism can be operated from either side. The lock uses spring tension to engage the blade securely while allowing the user to retract the bar when opening or closing the knife. This arrangement supports intuitive operation for right- or left-handed users and keeps fingers away from the blade’s closing path during normal use. The machined aluminum handle provides a rigid structure while helping maintain the Regent’s relatively light weight. An ambidextrous tip-up pocket clip lets the owner configure the knife for the preferred side of carry, and the integrated lanyard loop offers another attachment option. S35VN stainless steel is selected for its combination of edge retention, toughness and corrosion resistance, while the black titanium coating adds a protective finish and matches the handle. Like any folding knife, the Regent should be kept clean, dry and properly lubricated, particularly around the pivot and lock. With its compact dimensions, ambidextrous controls and streamlined configuration, this black Regent is well suited to customers looking for a modern folding knife for daily utility and field use.
