The G5 Outdoors T2 125 Grain Crossbow Broadhead is a two-blade expandable hunting head designed for use with crossbow bolts. This exact configuration includes three broadheads, giving crossbow hunters a matched set for their hunting setup. Each T2 combines a streamlined profile with an expansive 2-inch cutting diameter, balancing controlled flight characteristics with a wide cutting path after impact. The broadhead uses G5’s Socket-Lock retention system to hold the blades securely in their closed position during handling and flight without relying on a separate collar or O-ring. Upon impact, the rearward-sliding blades deploy around the ferrule to reach their full cutting diameter. The barbless blade arrangement is designed so the blades can move back toward their original position rather than remaining permanently locked open. G5 constructs the T2 from steel, including the ferrule and heavy-duty blades, to provide a durable build suited to the high energy generated by crossbows. The blades have double-beveled cutting edges, while the pointed Zip-Tip design and flared ferrule create a clean, compact front profile. Reduced blade overhang also helps keep the broadhead’s overall configuration streamlined before deployment. At 125 grains, this version is clearly differentiated from the lighter T2 variants and is intended for hunters whose crossbow and bolt setup is tuned for a 125-grain point. The broadheads attach through the standard threaded connection found on compatible crossbow bolts. Before hunting, shooters should confirm that their crossbow manufacturer permits the selected broadhead weight, verify bolt compatibility, inspect each head and blade, and test point of impact with an appropriate practice head. Local hunting regulations should also be reviewed because rules governing expandable broadheads vary by location and season.
