The G5 Outdoors T2 is a two-blade expandable broadhead developed for bowhunters who want a streamlined mechanical design backed by durable steel construction. This package contains three standard 125-grain T2 broadheads, each built around an all-steel ferrule, point, blades and retention components. The compact profile helps keep the head balanced during flight, while the low-overhang design and flared ferrule support efficient penetration when the arrow reaches its target. At impact, the two rearward-sliding blades deploy to create a full 2-inch cutting diameter. G5’s Socket-Lock retention system holds the blades securely in their closed position without relying on disposable rubber bands or collars. This reusable steel-on-steel system is designed to prevent blade movement and rattling while the broadhead is carried in a quiver, yet permits dependable deployment upon impact. The Zip-Tip point begins penetration ahead of the blades, and the rearward deployment motion reduces the amount of material extending beyond the ferrule. Every part of the broadhead is arranged to provide a simple, rugged configuration with fewer components that need to be replaced between uses. The barbless blade profile also allows the head to be inspected, reset and maintained after a shot when its condition permits reuse. Made in the United States, the T2 combines a 125-grain hunting weight with an expansive two-blade cut and a fully steel mechanical system. It is a practical choice for archers assembling a hunting arrow around a 125-grain point and looking for a broadhead that offers a large cutting diameter without the extra blade count of a three- or four-blade head. As with any expandable broadhead, archers should verify local hunting regulations and confirm broadhead flight with their individual bow and arrow setup before entering the field.
