The Leatherman Skeletool CX Nocturnal is a streamlined, full-size multi-tool designed for everyday carry, outdoor trips, quick repairs and routine work around the home or shop. Its skeletonized profile keeps the tool compact and lightweight while retaining the functions most often needed for cutting, gripping, turning fasteners and handling wire. At 4 inches closed and 5 ounces, it fits comfortably in a pocket or gear bag, and the replaceable pocket clip and integrated carabiner provide convenient carry options without requiring a separate sheath. The Nocturnal colorway combines deep blue frame sections with black components for a distinctive appearance. A 2.6-inch plain-edge blade made from 154CM stainless steel provides the primary cutting surface. The blade can be accessed from outside the folded tool, opened with one hand and locked in position during use. Opening the handles reveals both needlenose and regular pliers, along with wire cutters and hard-wire cutters for common gripping and cutting jobs. The large bit driver expands the tool’s usefulness for equipment adjustments and minor repairs. Two reversible bits are supplied, providing Phillips #1 and #2 tips as well as 1/4-inch and 3/16-inch flat screwdriver tips, while built-in handle storage keeps the spare bit readily available. A carabiner incorporated into the handle doubles as a bottle opener, reducing bulk by combining two practical functions. Measuring 6 inches when fully opened, the Skeletool CX offers useful working reach without the weight and complexity of a larger multi-tool. This focused seven-tool configuration is well suited to users who want essential pliers-based capability, a premium straight-edge knife and interchangeable driver tips in a portable format that is easy to keep close at hand.
