The Rite Edge Tanto Survivor is a compact fixed-blade knife built for convenient storage in a camping pack, emergency kit, vehicle gear bag, or outdoor equipment collection. Measuring 7 inches overall, this black knife combines a 3-inch tanto-point blade with full-tang construction, creating a simple one-piece foundation without the hinges or locking mechanisms found on a folding knife. The angular tanto profile provides a defined point and two cutting-edge sections for controlled utility work, while the sawback-style spine adds another practical working surface. Its stainless steel blade has a black finish that coordinates with the handle, sheath, and included fire-starting accessory. A black cord wrap forms the handle, adding texture while keeping the design lightweight and straightforward. The extended cord also creates a useful lanyard for carrying or securing the knife to other equipment. With a blade thickness of 4mm, this model has a substantial profile despite its compact overall dimensions. The included nylon sheath protects the cutting edge during storage and transport and is equipped for belt carry, keeping the knife accessible when hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, or completing routine chores around camp. A dedicated sheath pocket holds the supplied magnesium-alloy fire starter, allowing the knife and ignition tool to remain together as a compact outdoor kit. The fire starter provides a manual backup option for producing sparks when preparing a campfire or emergency fire under appropriate conditions. This Tanto Survivor configuration is finished entirely in black and supplied as a single knife with its matching sheath and fire starter. Its short overall length makes it easy to add to existing outdoor gear without taking up the space required by a larger field knife, while the fixed-blade format is ready for use as soon as it is removed from the sheath.
