The Rite Edge Ursa Skinner is a compact fixed-blade hunting knife made for skinning work and general outdoor cutting tasks. This exact model measures 8.5 inches overall and pairs a gray/silver stainless steel drop-point blade with a brown wenge wood handle. Its straight, slim handle has brass accents at both the blade end and butt, giving the knife a traditional appearance while clearly separating the wood grip from the steel blade. The fixed-blade configuration keeps the knife ready for use without a folding mechanism, making it a straightforward option for a hunting pack, field kit, or display collection. The drop-point profile provides a defined tip and a curved cutting edge suited to the controlled slicing motions commonly used during skinning. Because the blade and handle form a compact 8.5-inch package, the Ursa Skinner is sized for users who want a dedicated hunting knife without the length of a larger camp knife or bowie-style blade. A fitted brown leather sheath is included for storage and transport, protecting the blade when the knife is not in use and keeping the knife and sheath together as a coordinated set. Decorative stitching and embossed detailing add a classic look to the sheath, while the dark wood grain and brass-colored trim give the knife a subdued, traditional finish. This model is sold as a complete knife-and-sheath configuration, so no separate sheath selection is necessary. For hunters seeking a simple fixed blade for skinning duties, or outdoor enthusiasts who appreciate wood-handled knife designs, the Ursa Skinner offers a practical combination of stainless steel, wenge wood, brass accents, and leather in a manageable overall size.
