The TURTLEBOX Cub is a compact portable Bluetooth speaker designed to bring clear, powerful audio to outdoor settings without requiring the space or carrying effort of a full-size sound system. This exact model features an orange housing with a contrasting white speaker grille, an integrated carrying handle, rubber feet, and stainless steel tie-down points that make it practical for use around campsites, boats, patios, garages, tailgates, and other active environments. Its IP67-rated enclosure is waterproof in fresh and salt water, buoyant, and capable of being submerged in up to three feet of water for as long as 30 minutes. The rugged housing is also engineered to resist drops, crushing forces, and dust encountered during travel and outdoor use. Inside, a Class D digital amplifier drives a 4.5-inch woofer and a 1.3-inch titanium tweeter, producing sound levels up to 118 decibels. Bluetooth 5.4 provides wireless connectivity, while the top-mounted touch controls offer convenient access to playback, volume, pairing, and listening-mode functions. Party Mode allows the Cub to connect with compatible TURTLEBOX Cub, Ranger, Original Gen 3, and Grande speakers for expanded coverage, while True Wireless Stereo mode supports traditional left- and right-channel pairing. The internal 49.95 Wh lithium-ion battery provides more than 14 hours of listening time on a single charge, and USB-C connectivity simplifies recharging. Measuring 8.6 inches high, 7.2 inches wide, and 5.75 inches deep, the Cub balances substantial output with a portable 5.3-pound design. It is a versatile choice for listeners who need dependable wireless audio that can handle water, dirt, transportation, and regular outdoor use while remaining easy to carry and position.
