The TURTLEBOX Cub is a compact portable Bluetooth speaker designed to bring clear, powerful audio to campsites, boats, tailgates, garages, patios, and other places where an ordinary indoor speaker may be out of its element. This exact version features a white enclosure with contrasting black handle and feet, creating a clean, recognizable look while retaining the rugged construction associated with the TURTLEBOX outdoor speaker lineup. Its compact, cube-shaped housing measures 8.6 inches high, 7.2 inches wide, and 5.75 inches deep, making it easier to carry and position than a full-size outdoor sound system. The integrated Class D digital amplifier drives a 4.5-inch woofer and 1.3-inch titanium tweeter, producing sound levels up to 118 decibels. Bluetooth 5.4 provides wireless connectivity to a compatible phone or audio device, while built-in touch controls provide convenient access to playback, volume, track selection, and speaker-pairing functions. Party Mode can connect the Cub with multiple compatible TURTLEBOX speakers for broader sound coverage, and True Wireless Stereo Mode allows two Cub speakers to operate as separate left and right channels. The rechargeable 49.95 Wh lithium-ion battery supplies more than 14 hours of playback on a charge, and the USB-C connection supports both speaker charging and power output for a connected device. Built for use around water and dirt, the Cub carries an IP67 rating and is designed to resist dust, drops, and crushing forces. It is also buoyant and can withstand submersion in up to three feet of fresh or salt water for as long as 30 minutes when the charging port is properly sealed. Stainless steel tie-down points help secure the speaker during transport, while rubber feet provide a stable base on a variety of surfaces.
