Rather than relying on small set screws, the base slides onto the rifle’s 11mm receiver dovetail and uses a clamping system designed to apply consistent holding force along the rail. AREA 419 machines the one-piece base from T7075 aluminum and applies a Type III black hardcoat anodized finish. The extended front section provides additional mounting space, allowing the scope to be positioned farther forward when needed for comfortable eye relief.
