Bear Archery Take Down Traditional Bow String 58 AMO Black/White

The Bear Archery Take Down Traditional Bow String is a genuine replacement string made for compatible 58 AMO Bear Take Down bow configurations. This exact black-and-white variant is sized for a Bear Take Down A-riser paired with #2 limbs, giving traditional archers a properly identified option when replacing a worn string or assembling a spare equipment kit. Its Dynaflight 97 material provides the modern string construction specified by Bear Archery for the company’s Take Down system, while the Flemish twist configuration maintains the classic appearance associated with traditional recurve equipment. The alternating black-and-white strands complement the styling of Bear’s traditional bows and make this string easy to distinguish from other lengths kept in a bow case or workshop. Correct string selection is an important part of maintaining suitable brace height, tuning and shooting feel, so the bow’s marked AMO length and riser-and-limb combination should always be checked before installation. This model is intended specifically for a 58 AMO configuration and should not be selected solely from an estimate of the string’s relaxed physical length. It is supplied as a replacement bow string only, allowing archers to reuse their existing compatible Bear Take Down riser and limbs. Whether kept as a field spare or installed during routine bow maintenance, this string offers a manufacturer-specified fit for the appropriate Bear setup without changing the traditional character of the bow. A proper bow stringer should be used during installation, and both loops should be fully seated in the limb string grooves before the bow is drawn. After installation, inspect the string, serving and loops regularly and confirm the bow’s brace height before shooting. This 58 AMO black-and-white string is a practical maintenance component for Bear Take Down owners who want the correct length, material and traditional Flemish twist configuration for their equipment.
